Hot Wheels Finds - Batmobile and Marco Reus Car

Welcome back Hot Wheels collectors. Here preparations for the Christmas holiday are done and toys are everywhere in the stores including our cool cars that we like to collect. We have the A and B mixes and i managed to find a few cars i was after, especially the new model for 2014 Aston Martin 1963 DB5. I wasn't so lucky with the Treasure Hunts for the B mix so far, but i have high hopes i can find it until another mix arrives. In this mix there is also a casting that represents Marco Reus, a German football player from Borrusia Dortmund. Other cars i found this time, the newest Batman Batmobile and two color variations of the Retro-Active (the other one is the A mix green variation).

Newest Batmobile

Marco Reus is a German football player

The stores look great with all the toys, all the Hot Wheels mainline cars, track sets, packs, play sets and other products and it is a wonder to spend time there and look at them, analyze and choose which to buy and take with you home.
Thank you for reading and let me know in the comments section below, how does your stores look like in this time of the year ?
Happy hunting and have a great time collecting these awesome toy cars.

Hot Wheels Cereals Games

Hello collectors, my name is Johnny and in this post i want to show you some offers that cereals here have with Hot Wheels games. I don't buy or eat cereals myself that much anymore, but i look for every Hot Wheels product out there and i also have a nephew that still eats cereals and this was the perfect combination to satisfy both of us.

Unlocking cars by leveling up

These are the latest cereals with Hot Wheels games (PC games) here and as you can see in the pictures there are three games to collect, Street Drift, Rubble Ruckus and Dockyard Destruction. These games came with the Cookie Crisp cereals from Nestle. There are no high end graphics on these games and they're very easy to play, also not requiring installation, they run directly from your optical drive (CD-Rom, DVD-Rom etc.). The games are also very easy and it has quite a few cars to choose from, at the beginning you only have one car, but you can unlock more while leveling up. The gameplay is also very simple and it can easily be played with the keyboard. The games also have power-ups that can be picked up while driving.

System Requirement on the back

System Requirements : Windows Xp, Vista ,7; CPU – P4 2.66 Ghz; RAM – 1 Gb; resolution 800x600; GPU – 3D compatible DirectX 9. MAC Osx 10.4; Intel CPU; RAM – 1 Gb; resolution 800x600. For both platforms 12x optical drive (CD-Rom or DVD-Rom), mouse and keyboard.

Team Hot Wheels drivers logo

These games are older than the previous ones and they came with the Cini Minis cereals also from Nestle. There were also three games to collect, Baja, Moto X and Drift. All the games have the Team Hot Wheels drivers logo and theme and the Cookie Crisp ones also have the Night Racer theme. The graphics for these games are about the same, while the gameplay differ and these three are not so good here, the controls are to sensitive and sometimes hard to control and they also have a difficulty setup. Not requiring installation and it can be played directly from your optical drive.

These games are older than the previous ones

System Requirements : Windows Xp SP2, Vista or 7; CPU – Intel P4; RAM – 512 MB; GPU – 3D compatible DirectX 9. Mac OSX v10.4; CPU – PowerPC G5 or Intel; RAM – 512 Mb. Both platform requiring a 24x optical drive (CD-Rom or DVD-Rom) and a mouse and keyboard.

Thank you for reading guys, for more details about the games, graphics, gameplay or any other info. please leave a comment below and I can give it to you or I can make another post with pictures from the games and more details. I also have videos on my youtube channel about these cereals games and you can see more there, just check my VIDEO ARCHIVE. Happy collecting and have a great day.

Hot Wheels Finds - the First 2014 Treasure Hunt

In the Mix A there are Still a Few 2013 Cars

Love the Colour Combination on the Prototype H-24

Welcome back to my blog. This is going to be a short post about my latest Hot Wheels finds. As always in the beginning of the new Hot Wheels serie for each year we get the mix A very fast and usualy I can find everything I want in my collection from that mix. This time it happened the same and I managed to find the cars in the pictures and also the first 2014 Treasure Hunt , Subaru WRX STI. Every A mix has also the last 2013 cars and I also managed to find a few from last year's line.

Team Hot Wheels Drivers on Top of the Hot Wheels Logo

New Short Cards Design and Artwork

Also the new year brought us the new graphics and artwork on the cards , which compared to the ones from last year these ones look alot better , more clear and clean , the colours are brighter and the biggest difference comes with the Team Hot Wheels Drivers graphics that are not on the sides of the cards anymore , now they take just a small place on top of the Hot Wheels logo (you can see the comparison in the pics). This time you can see the car graphics on the card very well and I must say because of that I didn't like the last years artwork at all. This year I really love the choices they made.

Enjoy the pictures , let me know what is your opinion about the card graphics and artwork in the comment section below and feel free to follow my blog anytime if you find it informative and enterteining. I also made a video for my youtube channel and if you like videos more than images you can take a look HERE. Thanks for reading , happy collecting and have a great day.

Hot Wheels 5 Packs

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. In this new post I want to show you six Hot Wheels 5 packs that I have in my collection and with this occasion I want to ask you guys, you think that 5 packs are collectibles ? Leave a comment and let me know what is your opinion, I personally think they are, besides the fact that they are very nicely arranged in an order in the pack, most of them, or how they used to be in the past are in exclusive color variations for the pack, different than what the mainline version offer.

The bad part of these packs is that not all the cars in them are the ones you want , not all the cars are the ones you want to collect. As much as I know the 5 packs are intended for children , were they just rip them off , play with the cars and that's why usually the car selection is so different.
For example : a 5 pack can have 2 sport cars , 1 van , 1 chopper and 1 muscle car. As you can see in my example the variety of cars is not particularly for a collector , that probably only collects the sport cars , muscle car or just one of the others.

Nissan 350Z & Dodge Challenger Drift Car

"Nightburnerz" serie

Powerfull sports car

Also known as Nissan Z

    Nissan 350Z
This wonderfull car from Nissan is a sports car that turns my head everytime i see it on the streets or in any parking lot. In the Hot Wheels line-up was first time introduced in 2006 , in the "First Editions" serie and it is , offcourse based on the real world car , that also had the name "Nissan Z".
It has been released in many colour variation , yellow , black , blue , silver and many others. It has only been released in the mainline serie and never in a special serie. This particular model from the pictures above is the 2011 release in the "Nightburnerz" serie , in white colour and red&black splash tampo with the sponsor logo , grey chasis , white interior and gold J5 wheels.
Unfortunately it is the only casting i have in my collection , but i'm defenetly going to be with my eyes opened for more variations of these and maybe in the future also a Treasure Hunt.

Nice detailed artwork

Real world vehicle

"Formula Drift" racing series

    Dodge Charger Drift Car
This is one casting many of us know and probably also part of many collections. The Dodge Challenger Drift Car was first time released in 2011 , in the "New Models" serie and it's based of the real world vehicle from the "Formula Drift" racing series. There have only been released six variations so far , white , blue , green , red and combination of these colours. Theyr all mainlines and in 2013 also a Treasure Hunt. The car in the pictures above is from 2012 , "Code Cars" serie , red colour and Mopar Racing artwork , black chasis , grey interior and PR5 wheels. It is also the only model of this car that i have in my collection and more variations would be nice to have.
Thank you for reading , i hope you find the information usefull and always leave a comment bellow and let me know what you think. If you also like to watch video you can check my Hot Wheels Video Archive on the top right side of this blog page. Happy Collecting.

Vintage Hot Wheels

Hello dear collectors and welcome back to my blog. We all have those periods of time when we can't find anything in the stores, when they are empty or you can't find anything you want so we have to look somewhere else besides our regular places. One of the places where you can look is of course flea markets. I have two of them in my city and only one close to me. One of the past weekends i went with another collector to one of these flea markets. There are very few newer Hot Wheels or carded ones there so this time i looked for some older ones and it was a good thing i did.

Porsche 924

The first one i found at a collector is this UpFront 924, in a very good condition, just a few paint chips here and there, the wheels are straight, the windows clean. This particular model is the 2nd model ever released, from 1980, with the 1st model being released one year earlier in 1979 in yellow. This model is actually the Porsche 924 and it also has the Porsche logo on the hood and it was made in Hong Kong. This one has just become the oldest car i have in my collection.

Made in Hong Kong - 1980

The second one i found is something i never thought i could find around here, because in my country series like this has never been released and it's the Hood Basher, the casting name Buick Regal.

Crack-Ups serie from 1985

It's from the Crack-Ups series released in 1985 that had many cars with parts on their body that would change when you hit them, revealing a real life damage and this particular model is from the Stock Car sub-series from 1986. Also in a very good condition, without to many chips, straight wheels, that still roll. Just like the name says it the damage part on this one is the hood. This casting was also made in Hong Kong.

I'm very happy to have my first Vintage cars and from now on i am going to keep my eyes opened for more like these ones. With these two cars i also found two short cards in the stores and you can see them by watching my YouTube video HERE.

Thank you for reading and enjoy the hobby and let us know in the comments what is your latest vintage Hot Wheel found.

Opening hood to reveal engine

       Shelby Cobra 427 S/C
The Shelby Cobra is a very old model, it was released for the first time in 1983 under the "1983 Hot Wheels – Hot Ones" series. It is based on the original car, also known as "Classic Cobra" and it was designed by Carol Shelby and Larry Wood. It has also been released in all the color variations since then. Some of the special series that has been part of are : Treasure Hunts in 1995, General Mills mail-in, Hall of Fame, Ultra Hots, Garage series. The model in the pictures is a 2010 release, under the serie "Hot Auction", metallic burgundy with white rally stripes, chrome base, chrome 10 SP wheels. I also have a grey variation of it from 2011, but i have none of the special series models. I also like it for the opening hood feature, revealing the engine.

Latest Hot Wheels & Matchbox Finds and Trade

Welcome back collectors. In this post i want to show you my latest trade and finds from the stores. The same as in every year during the summer season here the stores are almost empty of Hot Wheels, they don't restock often and the stocks they have are three – four months old, so not high hopes of finding something new and also no reason to rush when they bring something new, because i know i will have time to find what i want, what i am looking for.
On my way to the stores i could only find a Matchbox casting , the blue variation of the Batmobile , which i was looking for and i am still looking for the grey variation also. I don't collect Matchbox cars, but from time to time i like to pick some castings. I didn't found anything from the Hot Wheels that i was looking for or that i needed.

Batmobile

1969 Chevelle

1992 Bmw M3

I was in the stores with another collector and we also made a trade. Now those doubles that i had extra, from my previous hunts came in handy, because he was interested in some of them. He has been hunting more than me lately so he grabbed some castings i was looking for from the mainlines and a Treasure Hunt, which is one of my favorites castings as you probably know from my previous posts.

Prototype H-24

These are my latest finds and trades. *What are your latest finds ?*
Let me know in the comments section below. Thanks for reading and have fun collecting.

Perfect aerodynamics

     Ferrari 512 M

The Ferrari 512 M was first time released in 2006 , under the "First Editions" serie and it was based on the actual production car with the same name. This model also has a moving part (besides wheels) and it's the back , that reveals the engine. It has been released in a few colour variations so far , silver , red , blue , orange , yellow and it has also been part of the special serie , Hot Wheels Garage in 2011 and also a couple of 5 packs. The casting in the pictures is the first one released , with the number "6" on the side , black/white Ferrari logo on the spoiler , chrome plastic base , clear window and 5SP gold wheels. In my collection this casting is in the same place as all other Ferraris and i only have it loose , i only got it out of the package because the package was damaged.

Small but powerfull

     Ford GT 40

The Ford GT 40 is one of the older casting , released for the first time in 1999 and it is based on the actual prodution model with the same name , which was a high performance car , under the serie named "First Editions". It has been released in many colour variations since then , blue , white , red , purple , black and also in a few special series , like Hall of Fame , Hot Wheels Classics , 4th of July cars , Hot Wheels Garage and the Hot Ones. This particular model in the pictures is the 2008 release , in the "Web Trading Cars" segment , pearl white colour , white/light blue and red tampos , number "40" on the hood , white plastic base , dark blue window tint and blue chrome 5SP wheels. The model in the pictures is the first release with the black number "21" on doors and hood and the Ferrari badge on sides , base colour is chrome plastic , clear windows and the wheels type is lace chrome. Trading Hot Wheels

Welcome back collectors. You know how hard it is sometimes to find the Hot Wheels castings your looking for , either the stores in your area dont bring new mixes , either you get to them to late and other collectors get them , or even worse they are taken by the employees who sell them in different ways after . Well if you find yourself in one of the situations mentioned , you will want to look for different ways to get what you want.

The obvious choice will be to buy them from e-bay , thats the place where you can find almost everything and thats the place where they will get eventualy if they are taken by anyone whos only interest is to make money , to sell them. But this way is also the most expensive , many time the prices are raised to high for what many castings worth , but if you dont lack money then all is good.

The other way is to try and make use of those doubles you have gathered along the way and trade them with other collectors. This choice is very good for both sides of trading , because it helps both of you to get castings you could not find in the stores , without spending extra money.

Trading is not always that perfect , getting involved with the wrong peoples might get you in bad situations where you can loose the cars you wanted and the cars you had for trade , so it is always good to read the feedback of that particular collector you want to trade with if it comes to online trading , thru the post offices. If it's about hand to hand trading , meeting with the collector in person then it is alot more easier , because you can see the actual conditions of the castings you want to trade for.

I had my share of both bad and good trades. The bad trade came from online situation , where i never met the collector in person , i sent him my part of the trade , but he never sent me his part , you can see all about it HERE. The last trade i made was a good one , i met with the collector in person and i changed the Super Treasure Hunt '67 Chevelle SS 396 for the '11 Dodge Charger R/T , both from 2012.

'11 Dodge Charger R/T

It is only my 3rd Super Treasure Hunt for 2012 , so i'm far away from completing the set , but i like the casting , i like that artwork on the card , the conditions of the blister and car and i'm happy for the trade.
Thank you for reading and i hope you find it enterteining. Have fun and enjoy the hobby.

***How was your last trade ? ***

15. '70 Chevy Chevelle Convertible

Welcome everyone. This is the complete set of the 2012 Treasure Hunts series. As you can see this set consists in both long card and short cards castings. They are in the original packaging (this is how i keep my t-hunts). The long cards are international releases, while the short cards are both international and European releases. The European ones i found myself in the stores and with the other ones i had a lot of help from collector friends from our YouTube community.
This is the only series i had completed so far since i started collecting and it makes me really happy, it is an achievement, because as you may know by now collecting in this part of the world is very complicated, especially if you are a collector that likes to complete series. I also want to try and complete the 2011 (year i started collecting) and the 2013 series.

***Hope you enjoy my pictures and let me know in the comment section below what is the last series you did complete. See you next time and have fun collecting.***
