Hot Wheels Finds - Latest Happy Meal Series

   Welcome back collectors. It is a really tough period for me with huge exams approaching, so i spend a lot of my time studying. With all these on my head i will always find some time for my hobby, although it is just on a break or just to take some fresh air to oxygenate my brain. I am trying to keep the pace with the latest Hot Wheels mixes, well the latest that can be found around here, so that i won't lose any of the cars i am after.

Latest Hot Wheels Mixes

These are my latest finds and i managed to put my hands on a Batman Batmobile i was missing, on the card it only says Batmobile, but from what i know it is called the Action Figure Batmobile. I love everything about Batman and i plan on getting all the casting from this character. I also want to get all the color variations of the Prototype H-24 and i must say this aqua blue with the white wheels is one of the best. Also for now these are going to stay in their packaging, because i am out of storage.

Happy Meal Series 2014

From time to time McDonald's has Hot Wheels toys (cars, motorcycles and others) in their Happy Meal menus. This time we have four toys in the series, three cars and one motorcycle. They are not how we are used to usually, 1:64 scale, they are a bigger scale, made out of plastic and each of them have an action. I only got two of the cars and both of them have the pull-back action.

The green car is Turbo Car, looks something like Twinduction from the mainline series, has the pull-back action and also at the end of the action the white flag is being released. The red motorcycle is Air Slayer, also released in the Speed Cycles series, has the pull-back action and at the end the motorcycle is launched ahead, being detached from the back part. Hot Wheels Finds - Ballistiks On Sale & Bat-Pod

   Hello Collectors and welcome back to my blog. It is about time around here for the dry period to pass away and some of the stores already filled the pegs with new Hot Wheels. Most of them have the cars from the A and B mix that i already have, but I got to one store and getting closer to the area where the pegs are I saw them full and you guys know how that feels, when you think maybe you will be the first one to go thru them and find what you want, especially the harder to find cars, Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts. It wasn't my case, because when I got closer I saw that someone else already went thru them, I didn't find any Treasure Hunts, didn't find any since the A mix one, Subaru WRX, no Supers, because we don't get any Super Treasure Hunts anymore, but I managed to find the Porsche Panamera and the Bat-Pod from the C mix.

As I told you in one of my previous posts we get the Muppets serie and because of the high price I will find them on the pegs even after one-two months since they appeared, so I am going to have time to complete it. This time I picked the '59 Chevy Delivery and i have three in total, with the Baja Breaker and Dairy Delivery.

They cost around 15$

By now all of you are probably familiar with the Ballistiks line from Hot Wheels, if not, they are plastic based cars at a larger scale than regular Hot Wheels that can change into a ball and on impact they can change back into a car. They're mostly made for kids and not for the adult collectors, besides some of them that represent different known characters, like the Joker, Batman, Superman and so on. Also the Ballistiks in their line of toys contain many launchers and play sets that work only with the Ballistiks cars, like the Combat Cannon, Pullforce, Super 6-Shooter and others. The regular price for them here is about 15$, but i managed to find this one at 2$.

  This sports cars is one of the first castings I bought, one of the first ones in my collection and it is also one of my favorites. It was first time introduced in 2011 (the year I also started collecting) in the "New Models" serie and it is based on the real life model car. There have been seven releases so far in different colour variations, besides these two that I am showing there have been also blue, aqua blue, black, green and white. The variation you see now are from the New Models serie from 2011, both with a black plastic base, the yellow one has PR5 rims, while the red version has 10SP.

The only special serie this model has been part of was the Super Treasure Hunt serie from 2013 in green and gold rims with rubber tires. I want to get all the colour variations for my collection, but I missed a few so far and it is going to be very hard.

Hot Wheels Finds - First Time Special Series

 

   Hi everyone. In this post i want to show you my latest Hot Wheels finds, with a huge surprise for me, a very pleasant one. As you probably know from my previous posts or from my videos on my youtube channel in my country we only get the normal single cars, 1:64 scale also known as mainlines, we don't get the adult collectibles, the special series, not to mention we never get exclusives or mail in promotions for the single cars. Looks like this year for Christmas holiday someone thought of us and brought here to one store only the Pop Culture special serie the Muppets and a mix from the Retro Entertainment.

I didn't bought any of the Retro cars but i took two of the Muppets ones, Baja Breaker and Dairy Delivery. They had the whole set on the pegs, but they were priced at around 6$ and for that price i'm very sure that they are going to stay on the pegs a long time and i'm going to have time to get the whole set. I was very surprised to see them and maybe this is also a sign that in the future we are going to get more of these special series/adult collectibles. Love the Muppets set and the graphics/artwork on the cars and cards. I will just hope that this will not be only because of the holidays and that they will start to bring this more and more the whole 2014 year.

Hot Wheels Finds - Batmobile and Marco Reus Car

   Welcome back Hot Wheels collectors. Here preparations for the Christmas holiday are done and toys are everywhere in the stores including our cool cars that we like to collect. We have the A and B mixes and i managed to find a few cars i was after, especially the new model for 2014 Aston Martin 1963 DB5. I wasn't so lucky with the Treasure Hunts for the B mix so far, but i have high hopes i can find it until another mix arrives. In this mix there is also a casting that represents Marco Reus, a German football player from Borrusia Dortmund. Other cars i found this time, the newest Batman Batmobile and two color variations of the Retro-Active (the other one is the A mix green variation).

The stores look great with all the toys, all the Hot Wheels mainline cars, track sets, packs, play sets and other products and it is a wonder to spend time there and look at them, analyze and choose which to buy and take with you home.
